Why Donate?

In a sentence:
With your added support, the Restroom Laws Movement will be taken to the public more often.
Click here for a list of how we have taken it to the public.

In a paragraph:
Speech is free, but spreading the word often requires money. Informing, motivating, and mobilizing millions of people for a cause takes a lot of dedication, which leaves little time for earning money to make it possible. The campaign team, who has funded everything about the movement so far, is two people strong: Aradia (my wife) and myself. There is a lot we can accomplish as a dynamic duo, but without extra support, the campaigning will continue to move slow.

The Restroom Laws Movement is dedicated to total transparency. See a mistake? Please let me know! brandon@restroomlawsmovement.com

All donations are accepted not for profit, however, the Restroom Laws Movement does NOT currently have non-profit tax-exempt status under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. I am currently looking into making this happen, but ironically it will cost me $300 to apply for tax-exempt status. If you would like to see us get that status sooner, please consider sending a donation specifically for that purpose. I can give you a receipt if you like. Until then, your donations to us will not be able to be deducted from your taxes.

Donations can be sent to the following address:

Please consider donating even $1, every little bit adds up! No money? There are many ways you can contribute, including planning events, making signs, brainstorming ideas, and spreading the word. If you want to help, even if you don’t know what to do, just let us know!

If you don’t want to send us money directly, but still want to contribute with money, check out the list of items we can use help paying for. (coming soon)

Donors

September 16th, 2010, I received a check for $80 to support the cause. I intend to use this money for expenses related to taking my research to congress and other policymakers, and the general public.
